What documents do I need for a Florida learner’s permit?
You’ll need to bring several documents to your FLHSMV appointment, including: proof of identity (such as a certified birth certificate, valid U.S. passport, or other accepted ID), proof of Social Security number, and two proofs of Florida residential address.

What score do you need to pass the Florida permit test?
You need to score at least 80% on the Florida Class E Knowledge Exam to pass. The test covers Florida traffic laws, road signs, and safe driving practices. If you’re taking the test online through I Drive Safely, results are reported directly to the FLHSMV.
