What’s the difference between the NC 4-hour and 8-hour Traffic Safety course?
I Drive Safely provides two distinct defensive driving courses for North Carolina:
North Carolina 4-Hour Traffic Safety Course
The 4-hour course is a more condensed version of the traditional 8-hour course and can be taken within Guilford and Wake County with the permission of the court.
North Carolina 8-Hour Traffic Safety Course
The 8-hour course is for drivers, in all other counties outside of Wake and Guilford, who have already completed the 4-hour course in the last three years and received permission from the court.
