Texas Online Drivers Ed
Taking Texas online drivers ed is easy, especially with the variety of options available for you. Here are the driver education courses in Texas we offer:
Option 1: Texas Parent-Taught Drivers Ed
Keep your driving instruction in the family! With our DPS/TDLR-approved parent-taught drivers ed course for students between 14 and 18, you’ll receive assistance and driving instruction from your parent or legal guardian to complete your online drivers ed. They’ll help you work through our Texas drivers ed course, and will be your in-car instructor for your behind-the-wheel lessons and supervised practice driving (44 hours total, with 10 of these done at night). You’ll also need to complete the state-required Impact Texas Teen Drivers course, provided for free by the DPS.
Option 2: Texas Adult Drivers Education Course
Getting your Texas drivers license at 18 is easy with I Drive Safely’s adult drivers ed. Our TDLR-approved 6-hour adult driving course will teach you everything you’ll need to know to pass your written DPS exam; in fact, when you pass our Texas adult driving course, you pass the state test! Our Texas online drivers ed course offers flexibility – you can take it anywhere there’s an Internet connection, and you can divide up the course into shorter sessions that fit your schedule. (If you don’t already have a drivers license, you will be required to take a behind-the-wheel test at a Texas DPS office.)
