What do I do with my certificate?
Both the insurance copy and the student copy of your completion certificate will be mailed to you as a single document. Detach the two copies and either mail or hand-deliver them to the proper destinations.

Your completion will also be reported to the New York Department of Motor Vehicles for point dismissal. Points will only be dismissed if you are eligible. Please allow 30 days for the DMV to process your point reduction.
