2. Is your course approved for use as a court-mandated traffic school?

The Delaware Department of Motor Vehicles has approved the use of this course for those convicted of aggressive driving. The Delaware Department of Insurance has also approved it for all ages for the purposes of getting an insurance discount for safe drivers. Check with our customer service department for details!

3. How do I register for the courses?

Registering is easy! All you need to do is click the red Register Now button (found on most pages on this site) and you'll be taken to the page where you can enter your information. If you are taking a course because a court issued you a citation, be sure to have the name of the court and your driver's license handy.

4. How long do the courses take?

The classroom material and course duration vary depending on your purpose for attending. If you are taking the aggressive driver course, the duration is eight hours. For insurance classes, the basic course is six hours long and the refresher course is just three hours. If you are taking the basic insurance course, the minimum time required by law that you must spend "in traffic school" is six hours. However, you are permitted to take longer than this if you'd like, and you do not need to complete the course all at once if you'd rather break it into smaller pieces. Other courses do not have a minimum time mandate. The front-end and back-end time to fill out your personal information takes only a few minutes.

5. How much do the courses cost?

The basic insurance course is $29.95, the refresher is $24.95, and the aggressive driver course is just $100. If you are completing the basic course or refresher course you will be required to pay a $5 certificate pickup fee, as required by the state of Delaware. If you are completing the aggressive driver course you may choose one of our many certificate delivery options.

6. Is your site secure?

Of course it is! We use a secure server (you'll see a lock icon at the bottom of your browser window) during all payment transactions. You are also free to pay by phone if you prefer, by calling our customer service office.

7. What does the course material look like?

The class material contains videos, 3-D animations, and quizzes throughout. There is also text to read, of course, though we have done our best to keep the class interesting and engaging for you.

8. Who created these courses?

The course outlines were designed by an award-winning expert in online learning, working in conjunction with subject matter experts in the area of traffic safety, as well as an editorial and art team to make the learning experience more robust. At the bottom of each page within the courses, you'll see a link that you can click if you'd like to leave feedback or suggestions for the course design and editorial groups. The course is constantly being updated to include the latest laws and safety tips.

9. Do I need to take the class on the same computer every time I log in?

No, you can use any computer that has an Internet connection. The vital data is stored on our servers, not your hard drive.

10. How do the quizzes work?

In some of our courses, you'll see a ten-question quiz at the end of each unit of study. Your scores on these quizzes are not provided to any governing body, but are for your benefit, as knowing the material will help you with your final exam!

11. How do I take my final exam?

At the end of the last unit, you'll take a final exam that tests your mastery of the material throughout the course. For the insurance courses, the exam is proctored, and for the aggressive driver course, it is online. The final consists of 25 questions that cover all sorts of things you might have seen within the course. These questions are pulled randomly from a question database, so you and your neighbor may not get the same final exam questions. You'll need a minimum score of 70% on the final in order to pass the course.
